We are consecrated religious women dedicated to the worship of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus.
Our Community of cloistered contemplative religious women dare to be different by holding fast to the gloriously rich traditions of our Holy Roman Catholic Church. We are very proud to be especially chosen by Our Beloved Lord Jesus and seek every opportunity to glorify and make known the tremendous power of His Precious Blood!
Ours is a ministry of prayer both as individuals and as a community, for our Holy Father, the Universal Church, the Diocese of Manchester, all of our revered bishops, the wonderful and ever faithful people
of Manchester, New Hampshire, and the unsung heroes of our times...all priests!
Currently, twenty-three sisters live at the monastery on Bridge Street. Each sister is a valuable contributor to the daily management and facilitation that is uniquely termed "the common life". Prayer, genuine love for the Holy Eucharist and the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, is the bond that unites our hearts and souls to God and one another.
Our Mother and Perpetual Superior is the Blessed Virgin Mary. Love for Mary Immaculate is an integral part of our vocation. It is from Mary's Immaculate Conception tht the Blood of Jesus begins Its saving course and flowing through the Sacraments, brings life and salvation to all the people of God. Mary is our inspiration and the model of what we hope to be as we endeavor to participate by our special way of life in the apostolic mission of the Church.
Venerable Mother Catherine Aurelia Caouette, our holy foundress, was multi-faceted "woman before her time." She instilled in her spiritual daughters a unique charism based on the reality that there is great joy in daily sacrifice offered with love. A legacy that lives on to this day in the attitudes of an Adorer of the Precious Blood.
